LOL my hands ARE tiny!
I will take a picture of it next to a Large White egg from the supermarket as comparison. LOL it was so cool though to go find it! I was spoiled because my first chicken ever to lay was a Brahma and she laid 2.1 ounce eggs from day 1 hehe. But butternut is kicking into gear! She is such a sweet girl
oh and her blue 'sister' Phoebe who will be going to a new home once I get my new coop, she is VERY red too and her comb used to be black but now it's BRIGHT red with some black leakage.
I have a 9 month old Barred Rock and Easter Egger who I think are barren hehe.
