Got a first eggs from one of the 6 pullets, they are 2 days shy of 15 weeks. 3 are Goldens sexlinks, other 3 Black sexlinks. Noticed the one Golden(Loretta) was going into the nesting box and did squat in front of me, she has the redder comb & wattles, not super red. 2 Black sexlinks are squating. The year old hen laid and later we heard the egg song. Looked out and it was Loretta doing the song. Looked and sure enough a second smaller, darker brown egg in with Henny's egg. Yep she laid in the nesting box!

The first eggs are so exciting 
. Combs and wattles really started getting redder so it is just a matter of time.
