I got my chickens around March 20 and have been patiently waiting for some eggs. My wife made cupcakes the other day and she had to borrow some from the neighbor.
I have 4 white leghorn,2 RR,2 barred rock, and I don't know what the other 2 are. They all look like they should be laying, they are huge and their combs are big and red.
I was starting to think I had roosters. One was in the nest box today scratching and sitting , it seemed a little stressed because it had its mouth open and was very fidgety.
But the egg was found in their run about 20 minutes later.the egg is small and white which makes me think it was a leghorn.
Heres a picture of my daughter sharing her ice cream with the barred rock.
Can someone tell me what kind of chickens these are and what color eggs they lay. Thanks
These two look like roosters to me.
Crap i think i screwed up the pics.
