Woo hoo.
We got our first egg today!I didn't think we were ever going to get one. I think it was probably from our red-sex link Honeybun but I am not really sure. She gave me the chicken sqat that other day though so I was hoping she was close. I went out this morning to let them out for a little while because I had to go in to work and I was just locking them back into their pen (too many roaming dogs out here for them to free-range without me standing guard) and I happend to glance in their house and at the back there it was a cute little brown speckled egg! The sun was barely up and I didn't have a flashlight so at first I wasn't even sure I was seeing it right .... but yep! I had to go and wake up my girls so they could see it. We were so excited! I took some pictures but I haven't gotten them loaded yet.
