okay technically it is not our first egg because i bought laying hens so i wouldn't have to wait. this came from my very first chicks i bought back in feburary. my daughter had gone out to check for eggs and brought in our white california hen. i looked at her and said "that's not an egg". she laughed and then something fell on the floor. i walked over and it was a big white egg! geesh guess she couldn't wait any longer. it was a fertile double yoker and my son had an egg sandwich out of it. i should have taken a picture of it but it had cracked when it fell so i put it in a bowl.
