First egg...yaaa

I was kind of dissapointed to not find another today.
They have just started to squat when I touch them and if it's quiet and they here me they start squaking.
I am sooo glad i have them.
Everone told me how much work they are.. if you plan and design right they are a breeze.

I got 2 yesterday and 2 today, but there still small.

O.K. They have been laying for a week or so and the eggs are still small.
Tonight my wife and I hard boiled 8 of them and we couldn't peel them. Usually when you peel an egg you peel off the clear skin under the shell and it all comes off nice, but there isn't any clear skin to peel.
Am I making any sense..
My wife is getting worried that something is wrong. I am assuming it just takes a little time.

I can't help with the hard-boiled question, but today I got my seventh egg so I know the great feeling!! They are still on the smaller size but bigger than a week ago!

I got our first egg yesterday from my RIR that was born mid-May! I was so excited. But no egg today ... does it take a while to be a daily event or what should I expect? Now if my SLW's will start to lay then I will be happy!

2 of my RIR's layed right at week 20 and now at week 21 they are the only ones....I think.
I have been getting 2 a day for the last 5 days, but someone told me that when they first start laying they will only lay every few days... If that is true then a bunch of them are laying, but just rotating....Ahh...who cares....I got eggs!!!

So, I was getting 2 a day then 3 and the 3 and one was a full size then yesterday I got 4, but all small, today back to 3.
I am seeing progress, but is feels like it's taking forever.
I just can't wait till all 7 are laying full size eggs.
