First Egg Yesterday But None Today

I Have 19 Rir's And They Are 17 Weeks And 5 Days Old Yesterday And I Found The First Egg. Today I Check And Could Not Find An Egg Anywhere. Did I Just Have A Early Layer Or Does It Take A While To Get Going?

I just had my 1st egg yesterday from a 17 week old NHR. From what I understand, it will be sporadic for a while so I wouldn't worry about it.

I agree, i've got 11 hens that are starting to lay. I'm getting between 1 and 3 eggs per day, Mostly little pullet eggs. After a week and a half they are starting to lay bigger eggs now but not with any regularity.
