First Egg

Hi all! I am new to byc and got my chicks about 17 and 1/2 weeks ago, and I am exited to get my first egg. I wan't to see your first eggs! I hope there some people who have taken pictures of there first egg(s).

First day of getting two eggs.

Here was our first egg on 1/15/20. It was a little bit of a surprise as I thought we had to wait until 6 months. This was at only 4 months and since then, we have continued to get more eggs from 2-3 of our hens. We have one black Astralorp who is laying a small dark brown egg every morning and has been for the last two weeks. Others are laying 3-5x per week.
First photo of a single brown egg in the egg carton is our first egg. Our first 4-5 eggs were pale brown, very large, and all contained 2-3 yokes. Then she stopped laying. Meanwhile, we have had a couple other colors pop-up and we regularly collect one in the morning around 5am and others in the afternoon. Right now we are averaging two per day.
I am excited to see others replies and their eggs.
