Putting the girls up tonight and cleaning out the coop when I noticed this little beauty! I'd seen someone was messing around in the boxes but didn't check this morning so it could've been in there all day. Also I have NO idea which chicken to thank but still very exciting! :)

It was perfect! Hard she'll and everything. :) I've got 2 buff Orpington, 2 cinnamon queens, a black Australorp, a black and a red sex link, a black silver laced Wyandotte, and a new Hampshire.

My husband thinks it was one of the cinnamon queens because she's the "squawkiest" lolol

That sounds like a fun flock! They do make a noise after they lay. I think it's supposed to draw predators away from the eggs and some of them tell the world more about it than others! My Buff Orpingtons really liked to put on a show about it.
