That just maybe the key getting her a buddy. A goose would be ideal but if that isn’t possible then a duck. Please let us know how she is doing and if she perks up after you bring home a new friend for her.

So my goose seems to be improving slowly. Today she ate a little bit of her regular feed plus small amounts of kale, lettuce, and grapes. Hopefully she keeps improving. I also got the duck for her and they seem to be getting on well. I do notice one thing about the duck though. She seems to have red eye. I can’t take a picture of it as she is quite scared of me but there doesn’t seem to be any discharge, just a red circle around both eyes. Can I treat it with normal human eye drops for red eye?

Can you post a pic with zoom? What breed of duck?

It’s an ancona duck but I couldn’t get a good picture of it. Her eyes don’t look too bad, just red around the edge. Maybe I will be able to get a pic when she gets used to me.

As long as there isn’t discharge or swelling probably okay but get a pic when you can.
