Can first crazy eggs be included in this thread? Her normal egg is on the left, her giant egg is the middle and a bantam egg on the right. It was from a cornish cross that for alot of reasons didnt get butchered for way way waaay too long and laid 12 eggs before I finally was able to butcher the poor dear. Poor henrietta. She got to live much longer than most meat birds at least. I grew rather fond of her. And yes notice the color difference, anytime my birds lay a huge egg it is lighter! This giant egg was my first and so far only, egg that had an entire other egg inside.
