First egg

I’m so excited one of our Easter Eggers laid her first egg, she just turned 18 weeks old today! I love the light blue color! Who else is starting to get eggs?

OMG!!!!

I got my first egg on Tuesday, a second (quite tiny) on Wednesday, and a third on Friday.

NOW, THIS IS THE AMAZING PART!!!

I cracked all three open to scramble up my homegrown eggs, and I was shocked! The very first egg I got and the very first egg to be cracked was a DOUBLE YOLK! This second from the tiny egg was a single yolk, and the third and last one to be cracked was ANOTHER DOUBLE YOLK!

I am speechless!!!!! My first three eggs gave me 5 yolks!

Still waiting for eggs. Almost 22 weeks old and still nothing, lol.

My pullets have been laying for a few weeks. I have gotten double yolks, and I got an egg inside of an egg, which has never happened before!
I remember how excited I was when my Easter Eggers started laying. I love my blue and green eggs!
