Even if they are dirty, they are protected by the bloom.I just leave them on counter and wash right before eating. I get dirty, poopy eggs often bc they don’t lay a lot in nesting boxes. I wouldn’t wash unless you intended to eat them , they are safe even when unwashed eggs are dirty because the bloom protects from bacteria entering the egg enjoy.

Thank you! I have 8 pullets all same age and I assume the same lady that laid the 1st egg on Friday, also laid the 2nd today. I have 4 available nest boxes (we covered 2) and bought and placed a fake egg in 2 of the boxes yesterdayNot necessarily but one can hope You can use fake eggs to encourage them
