First Egg

We have gotten our first egg this week!!!! We got it on Wednesday and the chicken has been laying every day after that. So happy! Only one is laying, why aren’t the others? Any suggestions? Thanks !

They will lay! Especially now that the one is, they will catch the “bug.” Just like with people, certain chickens mature earlier than others... as long as you are providing layer feed (and supplement with free choice oyster shells), nature will take over. Leave a fake egg (or a golf ball) in the nesting box in the meantime.
