First Egg!

I went out yesterday afternoon to tend to the girls and lo behold, there was an egg sitting right on the ground. I was so excited, our first egg!!! It came from Miss Wendy, our Polish/Giant mix so it was a good size for her first egg..... Turn on the egg machine...

I had my frist egg 5 days ago its a fantastic experience

, it's just a shame my friends at work could not understand my excitement.

We got our first egg last Wednesday and there haven't been any since? the four girls are 23 weeks today. The last few days they have gone inside the coop and are very noisy but when I go check no eggs. Is this normal?
