First egg

Just wanted to share with u all....We got our first real egg tonight.. Little brown egg.. Perfect all around...We had one yesterday morn also , but when we found it it was squished, Dont know if hen stepped on it or what.Shell was soft also, but tonight it was perfect.Hubby thinks im crazy , for acting like a nut over an egg.

.It came from a rock cornish hen, 18 wks. old.woo hoo. U would think i never saw an egg before....ha ha . Sorry, i'm just excited.Thanks for letting me share

I've got a bunch of 17 week old pullets and a couple that are 19 weeks.

I'm hoping I'll be getting a lot of daily eggs in about a month.
