First Egg

I had bought 3 chicks (1 male and 2 female) 4 months ago and i have putted them into a brooder and today i have noticed that 1 of my chickens have layed her first egg so i am new to this i does'nt even know what to do with the egg

Need advice on
1 . which one layed the egg?
2 . what to do with the egg?
3 . does my chicken (who layed the egg) is feelling well?
4 . my brooders surface is hard wood.....do i put something soft in it.....if yes then what?
5 . what care do i give to my chicken layed the egg?

i am extremely worried plz help (sorry for my English)

If you have cockerels or roosters, and they have been mating with the pullets or hens for at least 2 weeks, then the egg is fertile. If no roosters or cockerels, then the egg is just an egg.

I got a first egg from a pullet yesterday and fried it up just this morning!! So tasty!

There is a lady on here that will blow out those first eggs and paint them. She keeps them in a tiny nest in the house for display. I need to do this too.
