First eggs/who laid these?

I would say. She is a Black Jersey Giant.... I have 8 that are 2 month old, and 10 that are a week old. And she looks just like them. Black with a greenish tint, Dark eyes, and yellow bottom on they feet. If I can figure out how to post some pic I will on here so you can see then.
I hope this helps.

I think you are right, Tim. My Australorps always have white on the face as chicks. But, unfamiliar with Jersey Giants, she sure looks like an Australorp to me now with all that green iridescence!

Maybe she is unusually small for a Jersey . . . ? That could account for early maturity, I suppose.

My Barred Rocks beat the Aussies in earliest laying this year - first BR at 21 weeks and the last Aussie just yesterday at 26 weeks. Maybe you've got something special there RobotChicken, a really early-maturing Black Jersey.

Hmm, well looking back I feel that your BJG day olds and 2 month olds look different than my black chicken.

So right now I am leaning towards australorp.......

Are "Black Jersy Giants" Also known as "Black Sexlink"? If they are why are they also called jersy giants? is it from the egg size?

No to all of it.
They are called BJG cause. The breeders were two brothers last name Black. John and Thomas lived in Burlington County, New Jersey, and Their intention was to breed a large table bird that could take the place of a turkey. Their were the Giant comes in (worlds largest Chicken).
