Today I went out to check on my chickens, not sure how old they are but they're reasonably small, noticed one had made a nest in the box moved her and this is what I found, they're awfully small. Is this normal?

These are the eggs and I had reasons to believe they where fairy eggs so I cracked one open and there was yolk inside. Why are they so small?

If the chickens are bantams they are gonna lay small eggs. They actually look like normal bantam size eggs. Can you put up a picture of one of the eggs by a coin or something, so I can get a better idea of the size?

If they just started laying, it's normal for the first few to be small. Also the breed might lay smaller eggs. I'm not sure what breed you have there, but I would suggest looking up to see what is normal for the breed.
