Exactly how old are your BO? I have BO, Barred Rocks and Black Austrolorpes that were all 18 weeks old on the 3rd of Nov. Wonder when I can expect them to start laying? TIA:))

The girls are about 18-19 weeks old. These are my first chicken babies. I've spent so much time with them since they arrived peeping in their little box in June. I have to say that I didn't know if this was something that I could do. I have never had any farm animals before though I live in farm country. This has been such a great experience and the chickens are more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I have spent alot of time just watching them and sitting outside with them. It has been very calming at times. Who would have thought that plain old chickens would mean so much!
