DE- Diatomasous Earth (spelling off a little)


There are many advocates for the use of DE and I agree that it is a good preventor of mites and lice if that is the only thing the girls use to dust bathe otherwise soom form of treatment (medication) must be given to effectively treat an infestation bad enough to kill a member of the flock.

I will leave it said that this is a controversial subject about the use and effectiveness of DE. Enough said.
