first flock, 3 breeds okay?

I'm about to do the same thing. Chickens are very accepting over time. I find it is beat just to relax with chickens and just have fun with it, everything always works out.

We are raising 5 Easter eggers, 4 silver-laced and 4 golden-laced wyandottes, 3 dominiques, and 2 Delawares and they are doing great. I think like others have said, since you're raising them all together from the start, they just accept one another as part of the flock. They will have some skirmishes with each other, but that just their natural process of establishing the pecking order. Good luck, you'll love watching them grow!

We have 7 birds and only 2 are the same breed. 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Jersey Giant, 1 New Hampshire Red, 1 Araucana, 1 Ameracauna, and even 1 Khaki Campbell Duck! They are doing great together and one of the BRs and the duck just joined the 5 that lived together previously (we just got all of them). I love our multicolored flock!
