First Flock

Hey Everyone!
We just bought 8.6 acres and it came with a coop and small barn which need fixing up. We picked up our first flock on Monday. 6 buff orpingtons and 3 silver laced wyandottes. The orpingtons are 5 weeks I believe and the wyandottes are a week older. Its in the 40's here. When can we put them out to the coop? They are currently living large in the house and loving it but I am sure they will enjoy the fresh air soon!

Well you could try putting them out durring the day and see how they do.
If they huddle they are to cold.
You could also put a heat light out in the coop.
