I know how you feel. I have been checking nest boxes each day with hopes of green eggs. It felt like it was never going to happen!Gorgeous! Mine are only 13 weeks so still waiting. Waiting. Waiting.
Is the Comb on the white and cream one as red as the other? If not then it was likely the brown one.View attachment 2283960
Here are my two EE pullets that are old enough to lay. I’m not sure which one laid the egg.
I'm so happy for you! 1st eggs are so exciting no matter the color!Celebrate with us as we admire the first green egg out of our 21 1/2 week old EEs!

Good eye! You’re right, the comb is lighter on the red & white one. I think you might be right! Is the Comb on the white and cream one as red as the other? If not then it was likely the brown one.
When did you open the nest boxes.I know how you feel. I have been checking nest boxes each day with hopes of green eggs. It felt like it was never going to happen!
I've had this coop for 12 years so my nest boxes are always open. The pullets were put into this coop with the adult hens at about 13 weeks of age. I placed ceramic eggs in a few of them about 2 weeks ago, even though the adult hens are laying and showed them where the eggs go.When did you open the nest boxes.
Photo of half the nest boxes. There is another set just like it on the opposite wall, so there are plenty of choices for them. When did you open the nest boxes.
