Started with 9 eggs, 3 were infertile and I dropped one while candling, so I'm down to 5. Today is day 19 and all but one have pipped. I setup a camera so I could keep an eye on them while at work tomorrow. Feel free to have a peek: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/incubator-cam---chicks-hatching

Update:
All
5 that made it to lock down hatched and are now in the brooder. Here's a video of the last hatch:

My camera batteries died last night so you were seeing a still image. I'm using my digital camera as a webcam because its a lot better quality than my old web cam. I thought it would pull power from the usb, but apparently not. I put new batteries in this morning, but it looks like my wife turned the lights off in the garage before going to work because its dark in there unless the thermostat kicks on the incubator bulb.

4 out of 5 out now, with the 5th one pipped. today is just day 20 so I'm hoping its still alive, just slower than the rest. I did have to open the bator for just a second because I noticed that my light was going off and on every time I bumped it. The bulb was loose in the socket. It was open for about 3 seconds so hopefully that won't mess it up too bad.

They're mutts. Golden comet pullets with a rir roo. I found a clutch in a wheel barrow right after I finished my gator so I thought I'd give them a go.
