First off I have to say I'm very impressed with the egg candling pictures other get because it's not easy to get good pictures.

All 3 of the white eggs I saw good development and movement even if I didn't get good pictures.

The other eggs I had trouble seeing anything. So I'm going to look for a stronger flashlight. Egg #6 I did see some movement and a few veins IMG_20250219_202827658.jpg

Putting the kids to bed and then I'll take a second look.

So looking through the eggs again, all but #6 of the brown eggs are quitters. They have a sloshy/floating yolk. Better picture of #6

This might be due to the fact I've been having a tough time with the temperature/humidity staying consistent. I haven't been opening the incubator but it seems to swing from 99-102°F depending on the humidity. Room temperature water is added by an external bottle and hose so not sure what to do.

For the blue eggs they seemed kinda stuck to one side and from what I was seeing online they were saying quitters.

However when I looked at one of my white bantam again I noticed it looked the same and was obviously still good.

So I guess I'll remove the brown eggs that were sloshy and wait for the rest? Thoughts?

You’re on day 7 right? Unless they smell bad, I’d leave the browns in for another few days until you can be totally sure. The blue eggs look good, don’t remove them yet for sure!! Because they are lying on their sides for the incubation, sometimes they will attach on the side and look like that. I would just wait until day 10-12 before making a final decision on anyone, and I always err on the side of caution with leaving them in the incubator even if there is a tiny chance that there is a growing chick. Unless the eggs are starting to go bad, then I get rid of them right away!
