Good morning ALL! woke up to 3 more very active cuties...will continue to be patient until the 25th day...never waited that long to turn off the incubator..will see....congratulations to all...what lovely hens you will have...am staying with the breeds I have, we are elderly and they are part of sustaining a healthy lifestyle for us (they are all so beautiful and healthy)...will you continue to buy eggs? I know, I know , we have been bitten by the " hatchie bug " for sure but the broodies are wonderful to watch. let me know and again congratulations...fun fun fun at my age " life" has become my hobby such a wonderful time....message too long..sorry..just wanted to share something positive

Shoot I woke up and came here to check on new babies and I see you're 2 hours behind me LOL. So you won't be waking up for a while I'm thinking. Your new eggs are SO pretty!!!! I hope you'll keep us updated on those!

Congratulations kingsfarm and Jengro! Woot woot! I know, I'm on Eastern time, too, so I know 8:18 here is too early for anyone on West Coast to be up on a Sunday! So excited to be following everybody's hatching! I just put in 24 yesterday to our Brinsea Octagon 20 for the first time! Ours has an auto turner so we didn't dare put more eggs than the tray would hold. Anyhow, GOOD SUNDAY MORNING, PEEPS!

Hi, don't we all sound like the "waltons" ! ! ! goodmorning jbher - goodmorning Dr. Pammie - goodmorning jengro and goodmorning Ariel, hope you DID go to sleep last night...know the feeling..my 16 are all perky in their box....fluffy and cute ... they sleep so "flat out" precious how are your chicks...drinking and I know pooping...

this next hatch will be mine first with shipped eggs, wanted to try it also wanted the black copper marans breed, I have 11 babies right now all easter eggers for some reason everyone wants green eggs.

LOL, kingsfarm on the waltons! You and I are old enough to remember the show! We got a dozen Cornish Rock crosses Friday night at TSC to raise as broilers. I'd never had chicks before. I told my husband that when they sleep all flat out like that they look like drunks! I'm trying not to get to attached since I know where they're going eventually, but we also figured they'd be great "training" for the layer breeds we have in the incubator. Glad yours are doing well!
