Good morning ALL! woke up to 3 more very active cuties...will continue to be patient until the 25th day...never waited that long to turn off the incubator..will see....congratulations to all...what lovely hens you will have...am staying with the breeds I have, we are elderly and they are part of sustaining a healthy lifestyle for us (they are all so beautiful and healthy)...will you continue to buy eggs? I know, I know , we have been bitten by the " hatchie bug " for sure but the broodies are wonderful to watch. let me know and again congratulations...fun fun fun at my age " life" has become my hobby such a wonderful time....message too long..sorry..just wanted to share something positive

I also woke to 3 more lavenders!!

Congrats on all your new babies! I am so jealous! I just set 24 yesterday so I have a long time to go before any babies hatch at my house! I am hoping this is a good hatch...I have had some struggles in the last 2 batches that I've done so we shall see. Kingsfarm...thanks for sharing something positive! We all love to start the day with good thoughts! Good Luck to you!

Ok who is ready for an update? Sorry for the delay but I have had a super busy morning with clients. Anyways our 4th chick hatched about 5am, then we got 5 and 6 within the next few hours. I see TWO more with beaks out of shell but not out yet. So that is a total of SIX out and 2 more almost out. Ill post a photo in just a min!

Number 7 just came out and it wasn't even one of the two that I thought were going to hatch. So we have 7 out and two almost out

Blondie buff brahma loves to be in photos! I think it is a she, she just looks girly. I hope so, because so far I really like her, she keeps scrambling to see me when I am looking in!
