First Hatch due to start tomorrow.

Ok, sir call is in the correct position according to what you have said. Eggs look mostly dark when candling. Bator has a fan and has been kept at 99.5 with humidity at 50-55% until 2 days ago I got it up to 65 - 70%. As for day count, I'm not sure now if I put them in on the 31st or the 1st. I had my calendar set to turn of turner on the 18th.

Here is an approximation of where your air cells should be on usual candling days:

It seems like you should be OK with a hatch happening in a day or so. Humidity in the 50's for the whole incubation is a little high, usually try to shoot for 35 - 40%. If you find your air cells are a little small for where you are in incubation, that's probably the reason.

What day of the week did you set your eggs? If it was on a Friday, day 21 would also be on a Friday.

The humidity during the first part of incubation can vary as long as your air cells develop at a good rate. Too low and they become too large too quickly. Too high and they stay too small. This is determined by your environment. 40-45% is a common mid-range. Having it fluctuate during lockdown doesn't matter too much until the eggs pip externally, then the inside of the egg becomes exposed to the air and it needs to be humid so everything stays moist and lubricated but also not wet. Can we see your candled eggs? You can usually tell if they're internally pipped by the way the shadows look.

If you are in lockdown now, your humidity should be fine. How do your air cells compare to the drawing? Is there a possibility you could post a pic. of the candled eggs?
Air cells look like day 7, but just floated them. About 3 sunk to the bottom. Most were floating right about the surface and several did Bob a little, but they seem to be a long way from hatching.

We are 2 - 3 days past our hatch date and still no chicks. We have candles and done the float test. We know for sure we have 3 that are not viable. There several that had a little movement when floating. We have placed them back in and are going to give another day or two before starting over.

I'm sorry you're experiencing a difficult hatch. Hopefully, some chicks will come of it and if not I wish you better luck next time.
