First Hatch Ever! Check out these babies :)

Okay here are the first of our hatch

3 out, 6 more pipped, and 9 not quite ready...Aren't they beautiful?????

We can't seem to pry ourselves away from the bator!!! I am already trying to figure out what kind of eggs
to order for the next batch

I'm waiting on my first hatch as well. A broody. I've got chirping going on, so hopefully by midday tomorrow we'll have babies, too!!!

Your babies are soooooooooooo cute!! I have 6 that have hatched today so far. There are 5 others that have pipped and I am waiting on the other 10. It is very exciting!! This is my 4th hatch and it is just as exciting as the first time!

This is such an amazing experience,
the kids got to watch and they were in awe.

congrats on your hatch. I am doing my first hatch now as well and can't wait for them to start doing something lol.
I did candle then tonight and so far so good I think anyway. I do have some green ones and cannot see threw those so will just have to wait and see. Might have to get dh to build me a brighter candler. right now i am just using one of those small mag lights.

My hatch day should start on the 30th. I thought it was the 29th till i just read here that day 1 starts the day after you put them in the Bator. That is good because i am off on fridays.

Ya know realisticly they look pathetic when they hatch, but we all know what they are gonna look like in about an hour!!! YAY!!!!!

We weren't due to hatch until today but we got 4 yesterday. As of right now number 9 is out and 10, 11, 12, 13 are
zipping. We did lose 2 that were 3/4 of the way zipped. I have read that we aren't supposed to intervene and jeopardize the whole hatch but finally we did, but by then it was too late

I have duck eggs in an incubator right now. It only day 9 though.
