First hatch for us

Six of eleven eggs hatched. Took a week for for all of them hatch.

These chicks hatched over a period of 10 days. The little one is two days old
when this was taken.


It's pretty rare for a hatch to go on this long, right?

That is very unusual! Did you set the eggs on different dates? Congrats on your hatch and thanks for sharing the pics!

We didn't set any eggs. Don't know if all the eggs are hers because sometimes we'd see another hen sitting next to her. Anyway three more eggs hatched after the first pics. One didn't make it.
We were going to take away the remaining eggs after she got up and started walking the chiks around but didn't and three more hatched.
