I love hatching double yokers (some advise against it but I do anyways ). can't wait until I finally hatch twins

I can't wait to candle my first eggs on Tuesday! I am hoping for at least two of the five to hatch in my homemade styrofoam ice chest incubator. I am already planning to have some khaki campbell ducks and silkies in my next hatch. I am beginning to understand how this can be addicting! I already want a bigger incubator=)

Because I only have 3 non maran eggs, I could only see thru those when I candled. So far looks like only one of those has veins.

AND AAAAAAAAAAH. I found out today in the morning that the top of the eggs was 104^F so I lowered the temperature so the screen reads 99.5F and the top of the eggs reads 101F

I think the top of the egg is supposed to be 100 but I could be wrong.

Check out this egg one of my hens laid today. The one on the left weighed 2 oz. The biggun weighed 4.2! 4 oz is half a cup right? Oh and I have big hands. Wear size 12 shoes.
