79 is lethalCold weather lowered my house temp significantly, and the eggs got down to 97 degrees for several hours. I'm really hoping that they still hatch, but being small silkie eggs, and my first hatch, I'm a bit concerned. Stupid polar vortex.
We have a new jersey giant hen sitting on 6 eggs. They r to hatch any day. She cracked one accidently. The baby was full grown but was dead. There still was quite a bit of yoke still in the egg. Soooo sad.
