First Hatchling.I need to know if its behavior is normal..WITH PICS!!!

Hey gang...Here we are at Day 19..We had our first pip this am at 4:30 and it hatched at around 5:30pm...

A few minutes after it hatched we had to leave the house and when we returned we looked in on it and it had wrecked the entire bator...all of the eggs are all over the place and the chick was laying on top of the sponge of water....When we go near the bator it jumps up and starts to peep..almost like it wants to come out...It is still all wet and looks exhausted!!...Is this normal?..

He also has what looks like to be some poop sticking out of his back end?..Is that what it is or is there something worng with him?..

When can I take him out?????????????????

I took some video but can't figure out how to put that here...

Here are some pics of him roaming around peeping at me...he is actually tring to get out of the bator...

Sounds like all my chicks so I am assumeing its pretty normal .

Very normal !!! Keep the bator closed, you dont want to mess up the rest of the hatch !! Good luck, hope the others hatch soon for you !!!

Do I need to stay away from the bator?..Because everytime I go to check on him he freaks out and starts peeping and running all around...I don;t want to give him a heart attack!!...LOL

It's peeping will help encourage others to hatch.

I hoped that was how it worked cause the other's have seemed to have stalled!!...No more shaking even....

OH,
I know it is hard not to take it out, but it will be fine for 48+ hours.

If you can't resist the urge to take it out, then use this cure:

Get comfortable in your favorite chair. Best to have a drink in one hand and the TV remote in the other. Have someone get a nice big roll of DUCT TAPE and start wrapping around you till you can't get up. At this point you have no choice but to LEAVE IT ALONE.

Ok so here it is the morning of day 20 and NOTHING!!!...What the heck?..

Guess maybe yesterday was luck the 1 came early?....

When can I take out the first little guy?
