Does anyone want to name their egg early, or are you all waiting to see what’s inside? I am so curious for the color combinations since we have no idea whose egg is whose (except for my Sapphire Gem…she lays huge cream eggs), and 4 roosters!

I was going to wait until tomorrow to candle, but it’s freezing outside and I’ve been down and out (pulled a muscle and everything hurts), so I’m going to do a quick candle tonight and maybe take some pics.

I quickly candled all the questionable eggs today. I have THIRTY eggs growinf nicely!

The only one that looks clear is barn 1, number 1, so @ManedWolf if you want to choose another egg I understand. Unfortunately that egg was a beautiful olive green, the only one that color. I am doing a full candle with air cell drawings tomorrow, and will pull that one if it still looks empty then. I could see into the other dark eggs I couldn’t see last time enough to see the tiny dark eye spot moving around!

@Poultrybonkers I’ll give you egg 18, a white one that is either from the Ancona or the Andalusian. Should be a pretty baby regardless!

This is crazy! Good thing I found two other people looking for chicks!
