Congratulations! If you are going to dock tails, that should be done in the next 3 days. I would encourage you to go to your vet for a post whelping exam and clean out shot first thing in the morning. Good luck with your puppies, they are adorable.

I would also encourage you to continue a temperature chart on your dam for the next 10 days, twice a day. A rise in temperature can be your first indication of a uterine infection. If you keep a temp chart, should this happen you can get going on it before it causes poison milk. You can also pick up on mastitis this way.

shes a little aggressive so certain people, as for docking the tails I'm not gonna get it done simply because they're mostly chihuahua and I don't think it would look good...also ive seen it done the poor little puppy

agreed about leaving their tails. I'd take off dewclaws though... The can snag on stuff if not kept up. I know someone whose six month old puppy broke his leg because his dewclaw got hung up in an afghan just as he was jumping off the bed.

shes doing everything right except licking them to make them pee an poo so my grandma told me to get a warm rag and gently rub their no nos....she told me to do it every 1 to 2 hours.....is this correct
