I don't read or watch mysteries, but I've picked up some ideas about the UK countryside thanks to James Herriot and Joyce Stranger, to name just a couple authors.About 99% of what I think I know about life in the UK and the Republic of Ireland is from reading murder mysteries, so thereās a certain slant to my understanding of laws and social conditions.![]()
