well my saga just ended. The one lonely egg that was left in the bator was is on day 22 1/2 and I just could not stand it any longer. I go two thick quilts put it over me and the bator and took a flashlight to the egg. Half the egg was now clear and no movement. I was nearly full on Friday. I got up the guts and popped a peice of the shell off. There was blood inside the membrane. It appears that the little ones bottom(vent area) never developed. toes with toenails, wings, eyes, beak and feathers the shell was packed full of chicken. Man this stinks. I'm not sure I will do this again.
I do wish all of you well with your little peepers and zippers though. I'll check back to keep an eye on all your hatches. gotta go eat a pan of brownies or something to drown my sorrows.
