First loss

i had my first loss yesterday. I've started a flock in September but I bought some chicks from TS and on my way home I guess the others piled on it and crushed it. I did everything I could to give them safe transport. Try to save it for a couple hours once I got home but it passed away. It was pitiful watching it fade away.

I'm sorry for your loss. Its hard being responsible for chickens. It sounds like you did what you could. I hope it goes well from here on out.
