first marana egg

got my first dark brown marana egg today , got no pics but it is pullet egg about ½ size ,, been trying to get one over a year , the last chickens (cuckoo's ) didn't pan out , these black copper's are panning out .

Can't wait until I get a dark egg. I will have Marans chicks soon and then I have to wait for them to lay eggs. Oh the waiting takes forever.
