First Marans Egg!

Update on my little girls egg color for comparison. Egg one was dark and speckled. Egg 2 was really light with a little streak of blood and today I was able to catch her laying the 3rd egg which is slightly darker and very lightly speckled.

Wow. What a difference in sizes! The first egg is beautiful. I favor the ones with freckles.

I wouldn’t believe they were all hers if I had not watched her lay them. Speckles/freckles are my favorite too!
