Good luck!
I wonder when I should let mine stay out all night. I've had them 7 weeks. They're in the coop/yard during the day, but I've been bringing them into the garage cage at night. Outside temps are in the 40s at night; in the garage only gets down to 60. They're fully feathered, I think.
Mine are 6 weeks. Their coop is inside the garage and it's going down to 60's tonight. So far they are staying in the screened area and haven't ventured into the enclosed coop and nesting box area. I put them in and they run out scared lol. I am hoping it won't be too hot in the summer for them. I keep hearing good ventilation but not sure what that means exactly....
What about a light in the coop... I have had them all stand outside because its dark and scary inside the coop when its time to go in and the addition of the light for a short period of time help them get used to entering the coop before roosting. I used the light for a short period of time and it worked.
