Well this is Lola all dry and fluffy. She is the sweetest little thing!

The other eggs haven't hatched... My husband was a dummy and messed with the incubator. We candled them... we have one still in there. Hopefully it hatches. If not, Lola will be a little lonely. Then we will be looking for some babies around North Carolina.

Look at those little fuzzy legs!

As with Lola... She now has to silver duckwing banties as her brooder roomies. It was hysterical seeing her join them. I had to drive 3 hours to get these little guys.... I'm glad she wasn't picky of her company!


She has been eating and drinking like a little monster. The last egg to be hatched died as a very mature "fetus". Again, my husband had to just crack it open and make me cry by looking at it.
