First pip!

I have three eggs that have their first pip.The very first pip happened last night sometime while I was asleep and the others happened sometime today.They seem to be progressing very slowly.how long does it take for them to fully hatch?i hear peeping.This is driving me nuts!!!they need to hurry and hatch!they are on day 20,should I be worried?

I don’t know what went wrong bout I only had 16 hatch out of 32

Hatching can be complicated depending on your incubator. Sorry you only got 50% hatch rate, but at least you got half of them.

Yea I think next time I’m gonna try a dry hatch cuz a lot of them looked like they didn’t lose enough fluid.

That's what I have been reading is the best. I'm too chicken to try my incubator. I thankfully have plenty of broody hens I can use.

I’m wanting to get a breed of chicken where I can have some broody hens!!any suggestions?

Cochins, both standard and bantam are reliable broodies.
