First post . . . Hi

New, and happy to be here!

I'm in rural NH and have a small flock (5) of Buff Orpingtons (for eggs only) Other things about me - I'm a sock knitter but only knit during the cold-weather months...last winter I knit 10 pair. I play the Celtic harp and am an artist. All summer I have been working on the illustrations for my first children's picture book...the picture in my profile is a small cropped corner of one of the illustrations because it shows two Buffs. I've kept Buffs for about 8 to 10 years and think they are just the funniest and sweetest things!
Now at the end of my post, am trying to figure out how to post it!

I design the socks I knit...I've done flowers and sheep and other designs, but never chickens. I'll definitely give it a try come November!!
