First Quail Egg!

After adjusting light, stress etc I found my first egg last night! Can’t wait for more. 10 female confirmed. My daughters reaction to me explaining how they come out was priceless

Congratulations! And thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with your daughter.

I was surprised the first 3 times times when my daughter's friends wanted to come meet our chickens. But I welcomed 20 year olds and let them hold the girls who weren't thrilled with being held by strangers but appreciated the sunflower seeds. Then sent them home with fresh eggs. (But they are blue!)

I hope they are ever awed by nature's brilliance!
