First Run of Cornish Cross Meat Birds and Super Excited!

I use fishing scales, they are not as accurate as kitchen scales but give me a good idea of where my birds are, you can either tie a strap around a leg or wrap the bird in a cloth for support and put the hook through cloth.
 
When they are young I use a kitchen scale. Just put them in a box and it works fine.

When they get older I use a de-liar. That's a fish scale (not the kind a fish grows) it gives a general idea, Once they are processed I go back to the kitchen scale.

my broiler hybrids started hatching. Had 8 when i left this morning
 
Dave the chicks are predominantly from welps slow grow broiler hens mated with the following,barred rock,dark cornish,jersey giant,copper maran and a white broiler rooster. There is no way I can figure out who or what crossed what.
