just went out to lock the coop door.

As I told you I moved Bert to the main coop having him live in the feed area that adjourns the chicken area, separated by a screen fence. Bert has always associated with the "normal" chickens. But he has never lived with them before. I left the human door open so he could go into the feed area if he wanted to go outside.

When I went out to lock them up here is where I found Bert,






As you can see he wanted in with the other chickens, BUT he is too big to go through the door!

I know it is rude, but I laughed at Bert when I saw this.

HOLY CATS!! He is huge!! And your turkeys are beautiful.

Where did you get your turkeys from???

I got the two slate red from a private party in New Brighton.

I got the slate blues from a guy that raises poults near Milaca.

I have seen ads on craigslist for a guy selling a couple different breed of turkeys in Milaca also.

Yep that's the guy I got them from. They have quite a set up there. I think the name is Shipman.

I think I saw they had an ad for some excess breeding stock in the last week or so.

You need a hen correct?
