I have 9 turkeys, I am willing to sell 3 toms.
OK. Do you know anyone that is selling any turkey hens??
just went out to lock the coop door.
As I told you I moved Bert to the main coop having him live in the feed area that adjourns the chicken area, separated by a screen fence. Bert has always associated with the "normal" chickens. But he has never lived with them before. I left the human door open so he could go into the feed area if he wanted to go outside.
When I went out to lock them up here is where I found Bert,
As you can see he wanted in with the other chickens, BUT he is too big to go through the door!
I know it is rude, but I laughed at Bert when I saw this.
Here are some pictures of Bert with his first full day in the regular chicken coop.
Note his size compared to the size of the turkeys!
He got along really well.
HOLY CATS!! He is huge!! And your turkeys are beautiful.
He is huge. I am really excited about keeping a few CX to grow to maturity.
Where did you get your turkeys from???
I got the two slate red from a private party in New Brighton.
I got the slate blues from a guy that raises poults near Milaca.
I have seen ads on craigslist for a guy selling a couple different breed of turkeys in Milaca also.
Yep that's the guy I got them from. They have quite a set up there. I think the name is Shipman.
I think I saw they had an ad for some excess breeding stock in the last week or so.
You need a hen correct?
