Put 7 eggs in the bator this afternoon and 3 out in the coop with a broody cochin. This is my first hatch of the season. The eggs are either americauna or olive eggers. So excited. Anyone else start incubating today?

I'm starting tomorrow with 35 eggs in the incubator (hopefully dad is NHRxBO, but his F2 son and my silkie cockerel were going after his hens(they are NHRxBO or BR or BSL so I'll find out in 22 days) Then I'm putting my broody silkie hen on a dozen of her eggs (again I've seen the NHRxBO daddy rooster and the silks cockerel go after her and her sister).
First time using artificial incubator so we'll see

Good luck everyone! Keep me posted on how it's going. When is everyone going to do first candle?

Wednesday is my fist big candle (day 5)
